The Maverick Foundation is a charity founded in the wake of the September 11th tragedy. It is committed to helping young adults who possess the character and values of Dan McGuire and Joe Gullickson, the desire to help others, lead by example and are determined to reach their full potential.

	Donations to The Maverick Foundation are used to fund full scholarships for 8th graders to Moore Catholic High School. In addition funds support our Good Citizen Award program that seeks to recognize young adults who are exemplary role models and are nominated by an official from their school. On September 11, 2001 a great number of lives were lost and families shattered in the WTC atrocity with an infinite number of unfulfilled dreams. Joseph Patrick Gullickson, a Lieutenant with Ladder Company 101 of Red Hook, gave his life so that others could live and is truly a hero......
