The Maverick Foundation is proud to announce that Christina Borovilias, who is currently a sophomore at Notre Dame Academy and was a Good Citizen Award Recipient in 2005, has submitted her application to The Maverick Foundation for The Congressional Award Program's Bronze Medal. Christina volunteered at The Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Staten Island Greenbelt, swam with the Notre Dame Swim Team, and danced with a Greek Folk Dance Group associated with her Church. Christina ventured to Greece where she explored the history and experienced  the culture of her father's heritage. The Maverick Foundation expects The Congressional Award Program to officially review her application within the next two months. Way to go Christina!
